This problem is driving me crazy, I could use some help
When using Spotify on my Android Phone (LG G3) playback suffers random stuttering that sounds like digital noise (I don't know what to call it) for a brief moment, like if the file was corrupted. Often less than a second and often several times on each song. Both on streaming and downloaded music.
At first it seemed random but I have been able to reproduce the issue:
While listening to Spotify and loading web pages on chrome at the same time. Just as the web page is loading it happens.
While listening to Spotify with the scree off and driving my car, it happens every few minutes.
While listening to Spotify and receiving Whatsapp messages (not 100% sure about this one)
I have tried with no luck:
Deleting cache and saved data.
Rebooting the device
Reinstalling the app
Removing the SD card
Changing the quality in settings
Different networks and Internet connections
De selecting NuPlayer
Device: LG G3 (D855) Android 5.0
Premium account
Spotify version 3.6.0.789
Other observations:
It doesn't happen on a different device with Android 4.4
It doesn't happen if I use the LG music player with music stored on the device
It doesn't happen if I stream music with other apps like Bandcamp
This issue started recently, I'm not sure if it was after an update but I'm sure I have been able to listen to Spotify properly with this phone and Lollipop in the past.
