Spotify App not mixing my music

My Spotify App will not play my playlist in shuffle.  It picks only certain playlists. It plays the same 2 artists over and over and I have heard the same song twice in less than 30 minutes.  I reached out to spotify and they sent me here. Yeah great customer support.

Make sure nothing is in your queue and you don't have your playlists sorted. After making sure these didn't help, the solution seems to be trying to reinstall the app. Hope this helps.

What if I only have 1 play list?  How do I tell if it is sorted?  Where is  my que?

To view queue click on the name of the song at the bottom that is playing and then click the button in the top right corner. It looks likes a play button with lines around it. To tell if it is sorted go to the top of a playlist, this means scroll to top and then click on the three lines. If it is not on custom then it is sorted into something else. The 1 playlist should not make a difference.
