Spotify Connect devices show up but will not play music

My Question or Issue

My Google Home shows up in the available devices section but when I click on it, it just keeps "connecting" and the music continues to play out of my phone and not the speaker. There is no issue with my wifi, as everything else in my house works perfectly. I am very confused because I was using it yesterday and it worked fine.

I have already tried: Logging in and out, restarting my.phone, restarting spotify.

If you're still experiencing this issue, do you mind trying to unlink your Spotify account from you Google account and then linking them again? You can find the relevant steps in this support article.
