Transfering downloaded music from android device to desktop.

My Question or Issue

So, basically what i'd like to know is if there is a way to transfer a song that i downloaded in my android device, to my desktop, through spotify.
Firstly i downloaded it on my android device from my desktop, but now i lost that file on my pc and it's only playable on my android device.

Thanks for reaching out to us about this.

Unfortunately there is no way to transfer music from your mobile to your desktop via Spotify - you can only do it the other way round. 

What file format is the song that is on your phone in? How come you're not able to transfer it to your desktop?
