Spotify Connect on Network player loses connection with Phone.

I have a PIONEER N-70AE netw-player that worked seamlessly several years. Now using the Spotify App on Android or IPhone & does not function as it should. Player is connected with cable to the router. I changed the cable to a new one, still issue remains. I have used 2 different Android phones & one IPhone & the same problem occurs.
Firmware on N-Player is updated to to see if the problems get fixed, but no. I changed to WiFi on n-player , the issue still is there.
Spotify app was deleted and new one installed but no..
The Issue:
When start playing a song the n-player appears as is should and connects. then it disappears on phone & stops playback after 10 seconds on n-player.
