My Question or Issue

I logged into my account and saw that I can't play a single song and absolutely all playlists are empty. I don't know what this could be connected with. Moreover, this problem is only in the application. There is no such problem on the website. What should I do to fix my account? I have already reinstalled the app.

The issue seems to be fixed now, just clear cache and data and uninstall the app and go to playstore and reinstall it, and all playlists and functionality are restored 

I confirm what Rob147 just said thanks a lot Rob147!!!!), now "magically" everything's working again like before. So the solution the support gave was useless, it only made lots of people waste time and energy through all these months! Wasn't it easier to say that the issue was noted and they were trying to fix it instead of making us feel uncapable of doing such basic procedures????? 🤬

Hello, my region is correct even in my system settings. Sorry but maybe it could work only on iPhone 🤔

Brings, all you have to do is clear cache and data and uninstall Spotify and then go to playstore and download it again, they have fixed the issue

It's been almost 2 weeks since this happened. My Spotify app randomly decided to stop working. I cannot find my 'liked songs' playlist anywhere. Also, every other playlists on the app (including those I made) are showing as empty. I cannot play any song at all.

I'd like to say that I've tried every possible fix found online, including: Cache clearing, app updating, phone's system updating, app reinstalling, logging out everywhere, even using different VPNs, but nothing has worked.

However, the only way I can play songs are through the web version of Spotify (I have not used the windows app yet).

This did not help the situation at all. I even went as far as logging out after clearing cache and data within the app. 

the same exact behavior persists that I described originally. The whole app locks up immediately upon reauthentication. 

I also do not believe this to be a region issue within the phone. No other device in my house has this issue. I’ve not left the country nor used a vpn anytime before this happened. 

Solution stolen from another thread. IOS users change your language settings on your phone! If an extra language called English tru print shows up, delete it. Then reopen your app once or twice and it should work.

None of this works. iOS users, you need to CHANGE YOUR PHONE LANGUAGE SETTINGS and remove this rogue “tru print” language. Been battling with this for over a month and this is the only thing that has worked

Help where did all my music go! I didn't do anything, my playlists are all there but they are empty! 😞

Like bingsfrankxpin, This_app_is_broken, and I'm sure several others, I've gone through the cycle of resetting the app / clearing data / uninstalling and re-installing Play Store, making sure the country matches (it has never not matched to begin with) and many other attempts, god knows how many times, to absolutely no effect. The gall to mark the issue resolved when it hasn't even begun to be resolved is appalling.

My Question or Issue

I've ensured my registered country is the same as the IP I'm visiting the app from (It has never mismatched as far as I know), done the clearing data, uninstalling, looking for residual files and removing them, re-installing the official app from Play Store  cycle dozens of times and still there's no way the app would display any songs in any lists, or let me browse artists or albums, or even display any song absolutely anywhere on the app, let alone play it. I am not using a VPN and using the official Play Store app so there's no scope of country mismatch or anything else.

It dose not work it shows me no songs still and im on an androied. This has been hoing on for long time.

Was working for a couple of days and right back to no playlist or songs playing or showing up on the android app newest version.

Same, it happened, fixed by updating, two weeks later it stopped working yesterday again. Android. I tried almost all older versions even 8.9 but to no success.

I swear every update they push out it breaks again

Absolutely all playlists are empty.

 

This problem is only in the android application. There is no problem on the website or my pc.

 

I have already reinstalled the app, a full clean reinstall, I have no sd card and I removed com.spotify.music.

 

I have no VPN and my location I'd the correct one (I checked).

 

 

When checking infos about my account my username apears as a string of number and random character (which I assume I'd dome sort of ID tied to my account).

Hiii!

When I opened my Spotify none of my playlists came up so I decided to check my library where I finally saw them. However they were empty. Reinstalling the app didn't work, so I decided to create another account, which was working perfectly fine.

My Question or Issue

 

Hi team, I've been using Spotify Free for almost 6 years now but recently with the new updates rolling out, the app has been really buggy, but today I woke up to Spotify's mobile app being at a worse state. The playlists I made myself, my liked songs and Spotify's default playlists aren't working. They are all labeled as empty and when you try to play songs by searching them, it doesn't work.

I have tried clean installing the app, updating it and even making a new account, but none of them work. 

So far the mobile web browser version and PC browser works normally, but the mobile app is just gone. The app was working fine a few days ago. What is going on??
