Spotify app for Samsung Gear Fit 2

The Samsung Gear Fit 2 was released 2 weeks ago. All reviews said/showed that it would contain a native spotify app. I´m trying to find that app - but no luck!

Can it be that Spotify only releases it into the US samsung Galaxy apps store? I live in Europe and that might explain it. I wodner if anyone can confirm that this is the case!?

I've been in contact with @SpotifyCares through Twitter regarding release for NL. and got back that "there is currently no news but please stay tuned as there could be news soon". So if everybody from outside the US would contact @Spotifycares this might get prioritized.

I agree with jurgenjacobs. Spotify is going to do nothing unless people complain about this. Though its odd that Spotify doesnt want to make more money even when companies like Rogers Wireless are giving these watches out for free with new phones.

I downloaded this no problem using the video tutorial and I'm in Ireland but one issue I do have is that my libary won't load up? I can select recently played and workout and they both work fine. When I select libary all I get is the loading symbol. I've tried unis uninstalling it and reinstalling it but still the same. Any ideas??

I bought this thing specifically so i could easily listen to music while running and yeah I know you need to carry your phone around, but nowhere does it say FOR US ONLY only if you specifically search for it. **bleep** this, I'm so tired of this US only Europe only Japan only bull**bleep**. No wonder everybody resorts to using VPN's or downloading torrents for everything. Dafuq in Europe we already get screwed over for paying more than the US market (10€ vs 10$) and we wont even get the same apps??? This is bs.

I have the same issue on a Galaxy s7 with fit2. I can use the app to control my phone, but can't see the library or use it apart from my phone.

Get your act together spotify or people will be going elsewhere! Make the app available for all, and then make it actually open, i'm very much connected to BT, i'm moving the app up and down the order..... from my phone!

There needs to be an ability to play music in offline mode with your phone. The Gear Fit2 has 4GB of offline storage. 

What is the timeline on Spotify releasing the 'Offline Mode' ability for Gear Fit 2?

Hi I had the same problem with my s6 with "no bluetooth comnection". I went into gear settings to update my gear fit2 manually and this fixed it for me.

Gear Fit 2 has been released in June 2016, advertising as device capable of playing music from Spotify including offline mode. It is now almost May 2017. There is no Spotify app of any sort on Fit 2. Samsung say to contact Spotify customer service. Spotify say to contact Samsung customer service.
