Spotify app holds on to old podcasts in drop-down ...

Spotify shows old podcasts in the drop-down menu of my phone. I have to open the app to skip, pause etc.

cache cleared, phone restarted, but miraculously the spotify app "remembers" this unplayed old podcast i haven't listened to in days, even when other music is playing.

For PC I encounter problems with video podcasts, they just turn black. Unrelated i bet, but thought id mention it anyway (PC: lenovo yoga 9 14|AP7, windows 11, spotify app)

Skipping through external devices connected by wifi or Bluetooth doesn't work.
