This is an interesting problem that's just started occuring today.
Every time I open the app on the phone, or simply swipe to unlock while it's in the foreground, Spotify connect drops from my receiver, and goes back to "devices available" with the song paused.
It doesn't matter if I open Spotify on my laptop and connect that to the reciever and start playing, if I grab my phone right now and swipe the screen open with the app loaded, it will drop the receiver and pause the song.
Anyone know what gives?

That sounds so irritating, but Spotify created a troubleshooting to identify what's causing the issue with your Connect. Here's the link. It's not harm to try though 🙂

I should mention the things I have already tried, prior to starting a thread.
I have:
Uninstalled and reinstalled the app on the phone.
Power cycled everything in the network.
Power cycled the phone.
This is still happening as of this morning, is this really happening to no one else?
I would tweet to support, but last time I tried that, it was just a mess of canned responses and another different un-resolved issue.
So, two weeks and nobody else has this issue...
So strange after working flawlessly for months.
