Spotify continues playing when opening an audio or video

Spotify continues playing when I open an audio or video, when I open a video on YouTube or Facebook, the audio of the song played continues and does not pause it.

Could you please try playing media from another app and when you play something else, see whether that app is pausing or not? This will help to isolate the issue to the app or device.

You can also include your Spotify app version along with device make-modal and software version in your response.
