Spotify controls not showing up on notification drop-down (Galaxy S21)

My Question or Issue

I used to be able to swipe down from the top of my screen and Spotify controls and information would appear. It was working with my phone up until a week ago. Now, it simply does not show up. Still shows up on the always-on lock screen (although very annoying that you have to double tap to get to transport controls. Haven't tried resetting phone or uninstall/re-install yet.

Re-install fixed it. But, I'm glad I brought it to the attention of the community in case anyone else experiences this bug.
