Spotify drops out even when 4G is doing just fine

Okay this is strange. There are 3 roads that I know of in the Philadelphia area where Spotify cuts out for a period of time. On Lincoln Drive and Chreshem Rd. in Philly and Swamp Road (Rt 313) in Doylestown.

Like I said in the title the 4G is going strong and there shouldn't be any interruption, but there is. Is this a known bug in Spotify? I think it's a bit dangerous because it disturbs the flow of the drive because now the driver (me) wants to figure out where the heck the music went.

I'm running it on a Galaxy Nexus on Verizon running CyanogenMod 10

Let me know if any of you have experienced this or have any ideas on what the heck is going on.

IIRC 4G isn't actually properly supported...
