Spotify finding downloaded music after a phone reset

My Question or Issue

Spotify, please fix this issue. There should be no reason technically why this can't be achieved, surely!

Not everyone has access to wi-fi and in my case, I have to download gigabytes of data on my cellular plan for my offline music catalogue. Regardless of that, after a phone reset, the Spotify application should be easily able to find and verify the previously downloaded musical database and incorporate it back into the Spotify app installation.

Updates on the progress of this, please.

Do you mind letting us know if you're storing your music using the device's internal storage or on an SD card?

If you're storing your offline music on an SD card, it is likely you're experiencing the issue described in this Ongoing Issue thread.

Note that we're currently looking into it, but unfortunately we don't have an exact timeline for a fix.
