Spotify has stopped showing my Google mini web I want to cast

I have Spotify premium and everything was fine up until a week or so a go. For some reason, I can no longer cast to my Google mini.

I use it all the time, so this is infuriating.

Spotify and Google home apps are updated. Both use the same WiFi (and I've turned data off on my phone and switched to find local devices to try and fix it but it hasn't helped).

Google mini is still connected to my Spotify account. I can tell it to play music, but it never plays what I had playing on my phone.

I can go into Google home, faff around and get it to play that way by navigating to my device and then opening Spotify, but it takes forever. I want to be able to switch to casting easily from the Spotify app like I've always been able to.

There is, as far as I can see, no reason whatsoever for Spotify not to find my Google mini and cast to it. I want this fixed, because I'm on my last thread of patience now - I want to keep listening to the same radio or playlist effortlessly and easily like it's supposed to be.
