Spotify keeps pausing when phone is locked

My Question or Issue

My spotify keeps pausing randomly, even if the music is downloaded, when my screen is locked and on the Always-On-Display. However when i turn on my screen it continues to play? Its really annoying and has been happening for a while, even if i update the app.

Are you able to check if the app permissions have all been granted and also did you try to reinstall the app?

got to setting -- APPS -- SPOtify -- Battery -- select run in the background
