Spotify kids availability in Belgium?

Dear,

I'm part of a family plan, and I would like to have access to Spotify kids.
Unfortunately, this is not available in Belgium yet, on Android at least.

Is there an ETA as to when it will be available?

We can sadly not provide you with an exact ETA but future expansions are indeed possible!
I'd recommend checking the Newsroom for updates from time to time 🙂

We moved from Spotify Duo to Spotify Family mainly for that, the advertisement is clearly misleading for Belgium.

100% agree - misleading.
I did the same: moved to Spotify Family, discover I cannot add my kids, switched back to Premium Individual and thinking about canceling my Spotify abonnement altogether and move to another platform.

Same thing here, in Romania. I do have an option though, when I creat my kids Spotify account I can lie and set his age above the 12? years old threshold (not sure about the minimum age). It's a pity I have upgraded to family subs roptii  specifically to make sur I manage my kids access to content  and there you go! I just canceled my subscription in 24 hours! That's a good customer retention method, right?

Still the same... I can choose to lie or do nothing. I paid for it, so my kids could listen their own music at the same time I'm listening something else... My kids are not that young, but even not old enough for an account for themself.

They really promised me something else... very disapointed

How can a subscription be called Family when it excludes kids? All video streaming platforms have login option for kids. Why Spotify hasn’t (in Belgium)? We’re still waiting…

My Question or Issue

Hi everyone!

I'd like to install Spotify Kids for my 9y-old son, but I get the following on Playstore : "Spotify Kids is not avaialble in your region" (Belgium).

I'm a bit surprised as on the french (France) and dutch (Netherlands) playstores, my friends haven't had any problem.

1) Any idea why ?

2) Any solution ?
