Spotify loses the page I'm on when I return to it from another app

My Question or Issue

When I'm in the Spotify app looking at (for example) a playlist, if I switch to another app then come back to Spotify a few mins later, it will briefly show the playlist I was looking at, but then resets to the Spotify home screen. This has been happening for a few weeks

Although this will probably not work, try this out:

Go to your phone settings and change them to make sure that the Spotify application will never 'sleep'. (Ex. for Samsung Android, you could go through this directory: 'Battery and device care -> Background usage limits -> Never sleeping apps -> '+' -> 'Spotify')
