Spotify not recognizing keyboard on Galaxy S5

All of the sudden when trying to search for a song etc... My keyboard appears but there is no reaction when touched. Keyboard works in all other apps. This is only an issue with Spotify. I've uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.

The same thing is happening to me and I am using a Samsung S5.

This is no solution.  This is just a workaround.

From the Home screen on your phone in the Google search bar.  If ypu want pull up Beatles type "Spotify beatles".

This directs a search using Spotify.   I just wish they would fix this bug.
