Spotify notifications make the cursor lag on Chromebook

Spotify notifications make the cursor lag on Chromebook

Hi there! So I use the Spotify Android app on an Asus Chromebook Flip C100P, which can install Android apps through Google Play. Just like on a phone or tablet, when I'm playing music with Spotify minimized, a notification pops up with the name of the song and controls (pause, back, forward). However, ever since the last Chrome OS update my Chromebook installed, whenever I move the cursor over the notifications, the cursor lags very badly. Sometimes, if I'm just trying to pause the song, I end up skipping to the next song or clicking on the notification and opening Spotify since I can't tell where the cursor is moving to. I've already reached out to Chromebook support, and the people on the Chromebook forum said that if I'm only having this issue with Spotify notifications, then it's a Spotify problem. But I have been having this issue with other notifications so maybe it's not a Spotify problem; I just wanted to see if I was the only one experiencing this.
