My Question or Issue
Problems with music playback in my BMW F31 and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Music only plays through the left channel in the car. Does anyone have a tip? I've already reinstalled Spotify on the smartphone
Hi there @Fiemat,
Thanks for reaching out. We'll be glad to help you get everything sounding in full again.
So we can narrow down the exact issue, could you please provide us the following:
With this information, we’d be happy to investigate.
Keep us posted.
The problem only occurs with this smartphone, the S25 Ultra. My old smartphone, the A22 5G, works without any issues. The current smartphone has never worked properly in the car.
Hi @Fiemat,
Thanks for the reply.
Is it only on Spotify that only one channel plays or does it happen with any audio source? Also, how are you connecting your phone? Does the same happen with all other method too (Bluetooth, aux cable, etc.)
Keep us posted.
"This only happens with Spotify, I also only use Spotify. The smartphone is connected to the car via Bluetooth."
Hey @Fiemat,
Thanks for your response.
If we understood you correctly, you've only tested this with the Spotify app since it's the only one you use, so can you try playing a YouTube video or a video recording from your phone's gallery (in case you're on a limited data mobile plan) instead?
It's also a good idea to try re-pairing your device with the car and check if you've enabled any accessibility settings like Mono audio.
Keep us posted.
The problem is solved — it was a setting on the smartphone. However, Samsung support wasn’t able to help me (they claimed there was no such setting). Embarrassing for Samsung.
Thanks for your help.
