Spotify reports being offline when using a custom captive portal

My Question or Issue

When using the /e/ os captive portal (the site that Android uses to check network connectivity) using the method detailed here. I noticed it only happened when I was using mobile data, but when I reverted back to the stock google captive portal it detected the network just fine. All my other apps work in this configuration, and I usually just use soundcloud when I'm outside my wifi range, however it would be greatly appreciated if spotify could function as well.

Thanks for the post.

We can't guarantee that Spotify would work when using a custom captive portal, as this depends largely on your network configuration and cannot be manually adjusted from the Spotify app settings.
