Spotify showing 'Nothing playing', but still playing music and freezing after closing the app.

Even after having the app re-installed after logging out, I log back in to have the same issue of playing songs in my playlists and searches, and them not appearing without the 'Nothing playing' coming up on my Spotify, but still proceeding to play the music, causing it to crash and freeze after pressing it to close.

Any advice? x

Can you let us know if you're happens both with the web player and the Android app for Chrome OS?

It's also a good idea to check your hosts files with the steps here.
