Spotify songs not downloading on phone

Songs are not downloading on my Xiaomi phone anymore, the circle keeps spinning round but it's not downloading. Weird things is that podcasts are actually downloading. I have plenty of storage space left, not anywhere near the 10k songs limit and have already reinstalled the app.

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community. 

You mentioned that you've already reinstalled the app, but would you mind going through the steps of a clean reinstall, as it's more thorough than a normal one?

On another note, could you let us know if you're using an SD card?

Lastly, would you mind giving a different internet connection a go to see if the same happens?
