Spotify stops when i use Google Chrome and when there is an ad with sound

Hi, I'm using spotify for Android 5.1.1 and when i use Google Chrome spotify often stops streaming because an ad with sound appears. How can I continue to listen to my music without these stops? Thank you very much.

As far as I am aware, this is supposed to happen. I have tested this out by playing a song on Spotify and then playing a video via Google Chrome -- Spotify stopped playing the song whilst the audio on Chrome continuied.

Having a quick look at the settings on the Spotify app, I cannot see any specific setting that would allow for Spotify to continue playing when audio from another app has started.
