Shuffle play not working

Shuffle play not working

I have a free account and every time I try to use the app with shuffle play it pops up that this is a premium feature only. I can't pick a song to play or shuffle play so there's very little keeping me from deleting the app and not using Spotify.

Could you please attach a screenshot of the error for me in reaction? I have to confirm if it's an connectivity issues or a bug in the app.

@MxxxB, I suggest you to uninstall and install Spotify again. If that doesn't help, the problem could be either of the two problems I said above.
If it's a connectivity issues, the popup should say that Listening Offline is a premium feature.
To be honest, I've had that error myself once, but I don't know what it looked like and how to replicate it.

Hi, thanks for that screenshot. It appears you're connected to Wi-Fi so there should be no problem, as said above did you try reinstalling the app? Also after you uninstall try rebooting your phone.

I have the same issue, delete the app and dowload it again doesnt help 😞

Thanks for getting back to us @Cherishmelody. We'd like to help. 

 

In this case, try these steps:

 

  1. Remove Spotify on your device.
  2. Restart the device.
  3. If there's an SD card, remove it.
  4. Install the app again.

We'd also recommend trying a different connection. That should help.

I deleted it twice but still have the same notification
