Spotify suddenly deleting my offline playlists

Spotify suddenly deleting my offline playlists

Im premium spotify user and I have offline playlists and these playlists contains 1500+ song. I keep these musics because Im using metro in my country. I bought premium for this reason.

And with last update I think spotify suddenly deletes my offline musics. I bored to download them again and again. I tried to clean setup on my Android device, used Es File Explorer to delete all spotify datas. I have 32gb sd card and there is no storage problem. I unmount sd card when phone is off.

In summary:

1- Spotify deletes my offline musics and playlists on My Android device. This isn't happen at my laptop. Only my android device.

2- Spotify won't see offline musics sometimes and deletes musics and download them again and again.

3- Spotify app sometimes freezes while loading playlist name, album art, music informations. And sometimes did my clicks and selects slowly.

Why this 3 problems are happens?

I changed my SD card from a 16 GB to a new one with 32 GB two weeks ago and I haven't had the problem anymore. I hope it was a problem with the card and not of the app and i also hope my downloads dont dissapear again

Having the same issue. Using a galaxy note 4. If the battery dies or the sd card is removed or the battery is removed spotify deletes all my downloaded music...or does it? When I checkled the app was showing 4.9gb of storage used but no musix to play??? This is a royal pain in the backside very frustrating. Contacted spotidy via Twitter and they deleted all my offline devices, I did a clean reinstall and down loaded all 2100 tracks. My phone died overnight, woke up and plugged phone in to charge and it HAPPENED AGAIN!!! Utter nonsense that spotify can update app to sort this!!!!

When i accidentaly touched download button, i lost my all songs. I want to change its place.

I have had the same issue for a few times now as well.

Currently looking for another provider until this issue is resolved.

Is there still no solution??? Is there anybody official who takes acre of that? I have no SD Card installaed, neither did my batterie die.

Please do something!!! At least say, "we are working on this problem".

If you go onto your account on the computer, there is a section where you can recover deleted playlists.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Nobody has a solution? Everytime the storage changes from sd-card to internal, so that all songs are deleted.

Guys what can we do, to receive a feedback from spotify?

Having the same issue.

Spotify... help!

I font know what the problem is... Or is it just my phone... (Im using a lenovo android phone) but just like you guys, all my downloaded songs are gone. Tried to redownload but everytime i clear my cellphone RAM, Spotify will also cleared.. and it will ask me to log in again...

How do you clear your cellphone RAM?

I think I just found the solution... (PLEASE FORGIVE MY ENGLISH, IM FROM PHILIPPINES 🙂 Anyway, what I did was I uninstalled spotify and reinstalled it... At first it was installed in Internal Memory... I go to phone setting and changed to SD.. you'll noticed that your Spotify size and data will increase by few MB from its original size... now, went to spotify and logged in... Checked my playlists, and no saved song... Tried to save/dwload one song... After that, I restart my phone.. then checked spotify and it asked me again to login... after that i found out that the song is already gone too.. so i went back to Settings -- Apps.. clicked on spotify and I cleared the data...you'll notice that the size of spotify is now back to ORIGINAL mb size under the Sd memory... went back to Spotify and login again... Downloaded 1 song and restart my phone... There, i was surprised that the spotify didnt ask me to log in again and i see the 1 song i downloaded... Now Im downloading all my songs again.. heheh

Well.. it depends on the phone you are using... Im using an Android.. A Lenovo phone and just like Samsung, the Left key(touch key) is used to clear Ram... But there's also an option to clear RAM manually or removing apps that use RAM one one by one.. Just go to settings and click on App/Application.

Hello.. please read my post... And please try to follow my instructions there. I hope i can help. Thank u...

On my Samsung phone I don't seem to have the option to more the application to SD.

Ive tried so many things. Only way to keep the music from going away is to save directly on the phone, not using the SD card. So the SD card looks great, you know, not doing anything at all...

If you cant move spotify from internal memory to sd card I think you can find that option in spotify itself.. just go to spotify settings.. bcoz i also have samsung phone and the spotify app is saved in internal memory but the song can be saved in sd card..

You can check my post regarding that... You can follow what i did.

Thats also happened to me... But now everything is okay... the app and All songs are now in sd card even if i turned off my phone... Songs still there..

Keeps happening to me too every time i restart my phone (samsung galaxy s5 neo)...

All downloaded files for offline usage get deleted and the storage media switches back to the internal storage of my phone. This is really annoying, cause every time i want to hear my music offline i have to download it all again before and hope it works offline...

Would be great if spotify would bring an update to this because there are so much users with the same problems that we have...
