Statusbar and navbar must be transparent

My Question or Issue

As title says, navbar and statusbar have to be transparent. It's one of the rules for a good UI in Google's guidelines, and for a good reason.

It would take a very minimum change in the code to actually be done, and the difference would be huge.

Please consider this suggestion, it's a minimum effort maximum results type of thing.
