Stopping my song, playing a different playlist, playing while paused.

My Question or Issue

My Spotify will change my song to that of a song I've never searched for, on a playlist I've never listened to. Randomly. Or even when paused about every 40 seconds ago will redirect me to a super strange random playlist. Why??? Is it an update?

It sounds like another user might be logged into your account. Perhaps a friend or family member that is unknowingly using your account. We recommend doing the following to be on the safe side:

Change both your Spotify password and (if linked) your Facebook password. Then, log out everywhere on your Spotify account page and your Facebook profile.
