Streaming Bitrate

I use the Normal bitrate of 96kbps for streaming, but it still uses more data than I would like since I am on a limited data plan.  Does anyone know if Spotfiy will ever have an option for streaming quality less than 96kbps?  I know the sound quality would not be as good, but with other apps like TuneIn you can stream at 32kbs and the music still sounds fine, while using much less data.
