Transfer storage of offline files from internal storage to USB OTG

Hi! I'm currently using a Samsung Galaxy S6 64GB. I've saved many songs and playlists for offline usage and it obviously ate much of my phone's memory. I had purchased a 32GB USB OTG solely for my music files. Would it be possible to transfer the offline files from my internal storage to my USB OTG? I was hoping it would still play my offline saved music every time I plug in my OTG.
