My Question or Issue

When I'm listening to music, as soon as my screen goes to standby my headset is shutting down. It's happening only with Spotify, I have no issue when using Youtube Music.

Hey @Fego31,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

To start investigating this behavior and to make sure we covered all the basics, would you mind confirming if you've already performed a clean reinstall of the app? If not, we'd recommend following the steps mentioned in this article

If the issue persists, we'd also recommend making sure that the app doesn't have any restrictions to play in the background, this option is commonly located under the "Battery" section of your phone settings but it may vary between devices.

Lastly, would you mind checking on a different device using your own account and the same headset to see if the behavior persists? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out.

We'll be waiting for your response.

Hello, to answer your points : I reinstalled the applicaton, Spotify has the rights to continue to execute in the backgroung on the battery settings. I change my phone recently, on my old config no issue : samsung S20 FE + Hidizs ST2 pro + spotify = no issue. On my new config, Nothing 3a Pro + Hidizs ST2 pro + Spotify I have this issue. I tested Nothing 3a Pro + Hidizs ST2 Pro + Youtube Music, and the issue doesn't appear. But Spotify is my main music platfrom with all my playlists, favorites songs, artists etc ...

Hi @Fego31,

Thanks for the reply.

We did some further digging and found that this topic has been discussed quite a bit on various Nothing forums, such as here or here. Feel free to look through there and contribute to those threads yourself, trying all the troubleshooting steps provided.

A solution that seems to have worked for some is to go to your settings and search up "otg". A setting named "improve OTG compatibility" should come up. Turn it on and that should hopefully resolve it for you too.

Hope this helps.
