My Question or Issue: When I go to open an album from my library there is a message saying that the content is no longer available. Is this related to a new Spotify iteration, or some issue with my account? I have spent several days communicating with the Spotify Cares people on FB messenger. I tried a temporary premium account using the app and everything worked fine, so the app isn't the issue. It could be related to another message that started appearing at the same time saying that 'personalised recommendations are turned off'.

The two error messages do not seem related to each other. One is about personalized recommendations and the other for content availability.

 

Just to be sure about what we are dealing with here, can you share a screen recording of the same? Do mention your app version and try to record both the content and personalized recommendation error messages.

With an upload limit of 5MB it is going to be difficult to upload my screen recording - which is 10.2MB can't be posted. However I have attached a screenshot of the error I get when I try open anything from a search or anything from my album library list.

Can you try performing the same actions on other platforms like the Mobile App or Web Player?

 

At the same time, you can compress your screen recording online and then share here. Also include your Spotify app version.

 

You've also mentioned that it works when you use another account. Let me know if the issue exists on other platforms as well.
