My Question or Issue

notification popped up saying Spotify is "downloading 18 out of 45 (52% complete)" and shows a progress bar.  It's been downloading for more than 2 hours now and taking most of the memory in my phone!   How can I find WHAT is downloading and HOW can it be stopped?  

AP.S. This is my 4th attempt and took an hour to post this question.  If a notification drops down OR a text is received OR replied to then this post window resets and everything must be re-entered (i.e., device, OS, problem description, etc.)  Very frustrating!  Why can't the window keep the previously entered details?

Hey @nesbensen99, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

I am sorry to hear you’re facing these issues. I’d recommend doing a clean reinstall of the app following these steps, they’re more thorough than a simple reinstall. If that doesn’t work, can you let me know if the same issue happens when you attempt to use a different network connection, if possible? Does other applications and services on your device load properly and efficiently? 

 

Regarding the community post, if you’re logged in — the forum will attempt to save your content in the event you accidentally close out your browser tab. When you revisit that tab, you’ll see a pop-up as you send a reply mentioning if you’d like to include your auto-saved content.
