Why can't I delete a playing song from a playlist?

I know you can delete songs from within a playlist by going into the playlist but when you are out and about, in order to delete a song, you have to go into the playlist and spend like 5 minutes finding the song to delete. Sort of spoils my morning walk.

Why on earth can't I just delete a song from a playlist while it is playing?

Hey David!

Unfortunately there's no direct way that I can see where you can go and delete a song from the now playing screen or through searching unless you went into the playlist itself. I would suggest going over to this idea and voting for it and comment if you'd like so that it brings more attention to the Spotify team, that way they can include this feature in future updates.
