Why is the updated mobile UI so slow?

Why is the updated mobile UI so slow?

I am a premium customer using Spotify app on Samsung J8 running Android 10.  I do not know why it is so difficult to contact support but I have been unable to find a solution to my problem so I am posting here.  I have never been a big fan of the mobile app but after the last update it is running even slower than it usually does.  Is there any solution or support available?

As a first step, try logging out, restarting your device, and logging back in. If the issue persists, we suggest running a clean reinstall of the app by following these steps. This is more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble.
