Xiaomi phones: Spotify doesn't seem to be working right now

I was not able to open Spotify on Android Auto with a Xiaomi phone.

Every time I tried to start Spotify received the following annoying message:

"Spotify doesn't seem to be working right now"

If I opened Spotify on the phone and then selected it on Android Auto, it would work fine. Tried disabling power saving for Spotify but the problem persisted.

It seems that on Xiaomi phones (mine is the Mi9) you need to do the following:

1. Go to Settings

2. Search for Apps

3. Select Manage apps

4. Search for Spotify

5. Select Spotify to open App info

6. Enable Autostart
