Your music when opening Spotify.

Your music when opening Spotify.

Ya not happy about being given a menu of "your music" and recently played songs every time I open Spotify. Now when I open Spotify I have to choose playlist to go to my playlist. This is cumbersome and not just slightly annoying, massively annoying. Just as annoying as the snowflakes at Christmas time.

Look when I open Spotify I know exactly where I want to go in the app. Which is to my playlist. Now before I can go there I have to make a tap at the top of my note 3 on playlist, which is way out of the way btw, to enter playlist, then choose my playlist then scroll to where I want to go. Now try doing this while driving, or operating heavy equipment at work. C'mon Spotify. I do not use your "my music" feature because it's less then junk to me. So why are you forcing it on me now?.

I purchased a premium subscription for my roommate for Christmas. And let me tell you how much she hates this new way Spotify opens. Please please stop forcing this on me

Let me further explain why "your music" is junk to me and why this new layout does not work for me. When I listen to music I listen to a playlist that I have built. Rap goes in rap. Dnb goes in dnb. Reggae in reggae. Rock in rock ect. When I listen to music I listen to it in a genre. Your music jumbles it all over the place. I don't listen to dnb and rock one after the other. I don't listen to albums. No one artist has an album that I like more then 4 songs off of.

So when I scroll down through your music it is a jumbled mess if dnb, rap, rock, and a bunch of songs in recently played, that I listened to once, that I'm not going to listen to again for awhile. This makes this feature completely useless for the way I use the app. And more then annoying every time I open it.

I use the Spotify iPhone app, and when I exit the app and then relaunch it again, it ususally opens to the spot I left it at.

If you leave it in the playlists view, it should stay there until next time you use the app. Unless you go to search or another part of the app before you close it.

The new Touch Preview feature (coming to Android soon) conflicts with swiping between sections. That is why it has been changed.

The main view after clicking "Your Music" is now the Recently Played section.

Many people wanted Spotify to add a "Recently Played" section. So they did. It's a win win, I guess.

To get to where you want to go, you have to use the menu at the top.

It is now like that on all the mobile apps (iPhone, iPad, Android, and Windows Phone)

And it's crap. You would think for app developers they would be able to make a setting to open app in.. But no. Now they add another very very annoying step of getting to where I want to go. Like I said, I do not use my music. I do not use recently played. When I enter the app I know exactly what I want to listen to and where to go. Now I have to fumble through an extra step to get there. Usually while doing 80 on the freeway, or hauling 250,000 pounds down a haul road. Not good. And not happy

For the way I use the app, it has made the app cumbersome and more then slightly annoying. Again. Not happy one bit about this change
