can't return audio to device after casting

Pixel 3a and chromecast audio and Google home mini etc.

My Question or Issue

Since this morning's update of android app to version 8.5.76.962 When casting to another device, audio is ok. When changing cast to a different device also ok, but source android device (my mobile) is greyed out, so unable to return playback to mobile. Only way to move playback back to mobile, is to open Google Home app and stop casting to device from there. This was not the case in previous version of Spotify app.
