download on android same as offline mode on pc?

Do I have to use the download button to get the files in offline mode

on my andriod phone? No extra cost?

Yes. That's right. Downloading for offline mode is just the same as on the desktop. It is done directly from Spotify's servers to your mobile. So make sure that your app is online and your mobile is connected to the internet (Wi-fi is best). Select "Download" on any playlists that you want ready for offline listening. Then they will start to sync.

I was not 100% sure if the download button on the andriod phone was the same as

the offline mode button on the pc, or if it was the same as the download (as mp3 files)

on the pc with extra cost...
