how do i play audio only podcast.

When i listen to rogan's podcast, the video will always play, I don't download the podcast just stream it, and I can't get the video to not play. the audio only downloads tab is selected, the audio only for video tab is selected, but i still get video.

Currently, there isn't an option to completely disable video on Podcasts. On mobile devices, you can go to Settings and enable the option 'Audio-only streaming for video podcasts' but this will only work when you're not using WiFi. If you're using a WiFi network, the video will automatically play. If you don't want to watch the video, you can minimize the app on your device, lock the screen, or download the episodes and listen to them while offline mode is on (make sure you also enable the option 'Audio-only downloads for video podcasts' from your Settings).

Now, it seems other users feel the same way, and a few ideas to add the feature to turn off video on Podcasts have already been suggested here and here - feel free to add your vote to them!

Thanks for your reply here and welcome. 

You should be able to find this option by following these steps:

1. Tap the picture profile at the top-left of the screen.
2. Go to Settings and privacy.
3. Tap Data-saving and offline.
4. Locate Downloads and streaming.
5. There, toggle on the Audio-only streaming for video podcasts.
   Note: Remember video podcasts will play as audio-only when you're not connected to Wi-Fi.

If you can't locate the feature even by following the above, we'd suggest you log out and log in twice in a row onto your Spotify account. This could sound a little bit odd, but this way the system will force a resync of your account in general. 

If this behavior persists, please send us the make/model and OS of the affected device along with the Spotify version you're running there. Include some screenshots of the options you find under Settings and privacy so we can take a closer look. Be aware this is a public space, so please don't share any personal info in the screenshot you'll send us.
