is it possible to change default setting to loop one song?

Solved!

is it possible to change default setting to loop one song?

Hi!

first, I love spotify, on the computer it's great, and i feel like the app is solid, too.   🙂

I like to listen through cd's, playlists, discover new stuff mainly over the weekend.  However, when i'm at work, this might sound silly, but i kinda have go-to songs depending on what i'm working on... and, honestly, if it's a crazy hectic week at work i might only listen to a dozen or so different songs.  those songs may change over time, but i will have songs on repeat..

not a huge deal, BUT is there some way to change the default setting on your phone to stay on repeat song??  if so, i haven't been able to figure it out, yet...   :  /

everytime i click another song i have to individually select that i want that song to repeat, right?

Thanks to whomever took the time on this daffy question!!!!

Cheers,

-Mark

Hello!

For mobile devices, when you play a song, its name appears at the bottom of the app.

Tap it and the song player should show. Tap on the cycling arrows symbol.

If they show a green tone, the songs within the playlist you are playing will play indefinitely.

If they show a green tone and a number 1, the currently playing song will repeat itself indefinitely.

Maybe that'll do.

Sorry if I misunderstood your question.

Hope this helps! ♫

Hi!

Thank you for your response!

I was just wondering if you had to do that each time you played another song?  I did manage to figure out how to put a song on repeat.  🙂  that did take me longer than i thought it would though!!  i thought there would have been a quick key to do that without clicking on the song at the bottom!

i signed up for spotify bc i wanted to have it in case i wanted to listen to something i don't have, and on the weekends if i'm out and about i will try a random playlist... but, up to this point i've always just transferred to my note 3 whatever it was and the music app on that keeps the last setting that i used on it... the two additional presses is something that i think i'll just have to get used to.  it's trivial, i know. but, it annoys me bc i keep forgetting that i need to press it again if i change songs, or turn the app off, then back on.

anyways, thanks again for your reply!

Sorry but IMHO that is not really a solution to the original problem statement.

Like (as far as I understood) the user here, I want to be able to pick a new song and the repeat setting be set to repeat-one every time, and not have to manually reset that loop.
