music plays loudly after bluetooth disconnects from car

My Question or Issue

I have seen other posts about this dating back at least to 2016. In the past this wasn't a problem but recently, when I get out of my car, a few minutes later my phone starts to blast whatever I was listening to in the car. This is a PIA, and can be embarrassing when it happens in a quiet place. I do have the widget set up, just FYI. I have not tried deleting and then re-installing the app for fear I'd lose all the music on my phone, but I suppose spotify would re-download it and on wifi who cares.

In this case we recommend you to do a clean reinstall of the app. You can find the steps here. No worries, you will be able to redownload your tunes after that and you won't lose any of your saved songs or playlists.

After the clean reinstallation - let us know what Spotify version you have and the model and OS version of your phone.
