my phone won't sync all my playlists

I recently bought a new android phone and when trying to sync my spotify playlists, the phone will only sync about 200 songs before it stops. I know it is not the SD card that is the problem as I just bought one with 16GB. Can someone tell me what seems to be the problem with the phone?

Sadly I don't have an android device so anything I post here is just from reading around and past experience on other platforms 🙂

There is an ongoing issue with playlist syncing on android, although the post describes something slightly different to what is happening to you. It could be linked? 

As for mentioning of SD cards, to my knowledge the spotify application does not do this automatically. There are 2 big threads discussing it here and here.
