plays first music whenever i pick anywhere

My Question or Issue

whenever i choose an unshuffled song to play, the next song plays the first song on my library and it frustrates me because i need to select again the song thats supposed to be the next one instead of the very first on the list. i tried updating it in hopes that it will fix the problem but it didn't. please help me. thanks.
