"No internet connection" when trying to sign in

"No internet connection" when trying to sign in

It has been happening a few times already. I tried signing in via Facebook, email, none works. I tried factory reset, reinstalling the application (Spotify Lite), and it didn't work. It was working a few months ago on my rooted device (Galaxy Fame GT-S6810, Android 4.1.2), but since then, I got logged out and got this "no internet connection" everytime I want to sign in. I also tried multiple WiFi connection, switched to mobile data, etc.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome. 

 

We recommend you perform once again a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your device. By doing that, the app can be up-to-date, and you can make sure any damaged/stored cache is not leading to this issue. You can see the steps for a clean reinstall here.

 

Nonetheless, it's quite a bit of troubleshooting you've been through, and we're at a point where the issue is isolated to your cellphone, since you're using an unsupported device. We cannot guarantee any further steps will fix this. In that sense, we'd recommend using a different device if possible.
