search null help please

I'm a premium free trial subscriber. Loved it last night. But right now can't search anymore. When I hit the button it says search null....confused after searching for hours last night. Help please. Thank-you

My girlfriend's phone is another case with this bug:

Version of Spotify: 0.7.9.1170
Version of Android: 2.3.5 (with HTC Sense 3.0)
Make/model of phone: HTC Desire S

Keyboard in Danish, but otherwise nothing custom.

I found that I can get the keyboard to show by pulling the notification panel down and up and then tapping the search field 8-10 times.

Yep same here, keyboard will not appear when trying to search.  very annoying!!!

Sorry for the late reply.

I've rolled back the search to the old one where this issue is not apparent for the users that have reported this issue. 

If you still can't see the keyboard, make sure that you've restarted the client before trying.

My user name is sherrymonster.  I am having the same problem with my keyboard not appearing when I search for music.  I can bypass it by swiping down and up again, but that is a short term fix for the problem.

I have this issue now. I don't pay a tender a month not to be able to use search. Get it sorted!

Hi! I've disabled the new search for you now. You should be able to get the keyboard up when searching if you restart the client.

This has been fixed in the latest release that have started rolling out. Let me know when you've upgraded so you can use the new search.
