spotify automatically changeses songs and automatically starts playing

I have and HTC DNA, also I am a premium user. I use spotify every single day, almost all day during the week. I do not have issues with spotify on any of my desktop or labtops. I use spotify on my phone during my commute to and from work and at the gym. When I get to the gym all of a sudden spotify will start changings songs and WILL NOT STOP. It just goes nuts and I am not able to stop it in any way. When I am at the gym I am not on Wifi nor do I have it turned on, strictly using my data through Verizon. Pause, doesnt work. Try shutting down the app, doesnt work. Restart my phone, doesnt work. Uninstall and reinstall the app, doesnt work. I thought maybe my headphones had something to do with it, didnt help. If anyone has a solution to this I would really appreciate some help. If not, I dont know what else I can do besides cancel my subscription. PLEASE HELPPPP!!!!!!!

Mine is doing the same thing. I can start playing a song then it will start just changing the song at random. Sometimes it will be half way thru a song or just starting, but it will change it. I have no clue what to do about it. I've did everything you stated you had done to try and help it.

Let me guess, you have headphones with the skip buttons on? this has appeared a few ties (notably with the HTC One). Try using hedphones withou cotrols as it seems the aux point is prone to interferrence.

That or you could install an app to disable the headphone contraols... there are some on the Play store.
