spotify randomly stops playing at the end of a song

i started a playlist when on wifi and after 2 or 3 songs it just stopped playing the song a second before it was finished. i tried a different playlist, which started playing as usual and right after i verified everything was normal i went back to the first playlist and pressed shuffle again and the playlist started playing like normal and after 2-3 songs it happened again. i have full connection so that's not it. not the first time this happens.

this happens on shuffle because it's the only way to play this playlist. at first i could still skip to the next song when this happened but you have limited skips when you use the regular version so i can't do that anymore.
