[Android][Other] Is Spotify getting worse with each update?

I've been a long time user of Spotify, but lately I am starting to wonder if you shouldn't switch back to playing local media files on my phone and PC. Every update lately is making me more frustrated. I will name 2 recent problems:

1. Sorting albums on recently played was a good way to go through your collection again, playing from latest played to most recently played. However, albums that clearly have been played recently are still at the bottom of the list. How can this fail?
2. When you've busy in a plsylist and stop for some reason, it's obviously nice to resume after a while. However, since recently the playlist starts from the beginning again.

Is this just me, or do others feel the same?
