How do we listen to two different streams at once (multiple people in the house)?

How do we listen to two different streams at once (multiple people in the house)?

I signed up for the Duo plan thinking it would mean our daughters can listen to their own music and we can listen to ours at the same time.

Is that not possible?

Thanks!

Hey hey @mbr-oakland! Thanks for bringing this to the Community! Hope you're having a great day so far. 🙂

Yes! You can listen along to your daughters, even if they aren't in the same house, this is possible with the Remote group session feature. You can read more here about how to set up a new remote group session.

Also, if you usually listen to music with them on external speakers compatible with Spotify Connect, you can also listen along using the Group session feature. Just make sure that your device and the speaker are on the same WiFi network.

Since you start and invite people to listen to music in a group session on a speaker, all participants can control what's playing on it, and they can also invite and remove other participants.

You can get more information here about how to set up a new group session and how it works.

Hope this helps. Feel free to reach out to us again if you have any other questions.

Mateus.
